Executive Coaching
"You really have a knack for making people think differently about how they are doing things. I feel that I have reinvented myself."--General Manager/CFO
What is Executive Coaching?
If you knew you couldn’t fail, what would you attempt? As an executive coach, Carl partners with successful executives and business owners to expand their scope of possibilities. Working to eliminate any perceptual constraints and reframe their thinking, Carl helps them visualize how they’ll feel and behave at their next level of success.
How does The Growth Group do it?
As your coach, Carl will listen to you, ask questions, explore your assumptions and think alongside you. Together you will focus on where you are today and what you’re willing to do to get where you want to be tomorrow. His responsibility is to help you discover, articulate and clarify your vision. And, help you align your efforts to realize your vision. Through coaching, he’ll encourage greater self-awareness, help you generate realistic and workable solutions and encourage you to be accountable for your personal and professional growth.
So, what does Executive Coaching mean to you?
Executive Coaching is a significant investment that can yield significant returns both to the executive and the organization. Organizations regularly invest in resources such as processes and technology. But, investing in Human Resources is just as critical to success as it allows the organization to align its people, processes and technology. Actively participating in a coaching engagement helps you visualize all you’re capable of becoming and gets you and your company where you want to go. Coaching is a demanding growth process and requires commitment. Unless you’re willing to commit to creating your future, coaching will be a waste of your time and financial resources.
Team Strengthening
"I have been working with the Growth Group for just under 6 months and in that time the productivity and efficiency of my team has greatly increased. I'm now able to focus on my unique abilities knowing that my team is striving to think like I do."--Joseph P. Pombriant, President, Alacrity Financial
What is Team Strenthening?
You have a group of people you rely on. Are they pulling in the same direction? Can they marshall their energies in the direction they need to go? Have they effectively arranged how they’ll solve problems? Resolve conflicts? Grow to that next level of performance? The Growth Group’s Team Strengthening approach identifies the strengths of each team member, evaluates their fit with their respective responsibilities and works with the team to strengthen its effectiveness.
How does The Growth Group do it?
Building on the strengths of each team member, The Growth Group helps your team to crystalize its goals, clarify roles and responsibilities, organize and measure its work efforts and resolve conflict. The Growth Group employs purposeful practice to focus your team on the processes and business activities you deem important.
So, what does Team Strengthening mean to you?
Team Strengthening takes a group of strong individuals and forges a solid team focused on common goals and defined roles and responsibilities. Your strengthened team will embrace accountability and effective decision-making processes to drive solutions. That means increased productivity and profitability for your organization. And, more time for you to devote to strategic thinking and opportunity optimization.

"Working with our Senior Leadership Team, Carl has contributed to our efficiency and productivity by increasing our awareness of how to deal more effectively with one another. His 'fresh set of eyes' and conversational manner has helped us stay focused on our strategic initiatives."--Edmond Walters, CEO, eMoney Advisor
What is an Organization Review?
Whether your organization is a start-up, experiencing rapid growth, maturing or at a strategic crossroads, you will want to know the shape it is in. The Organization Review is a comprehensive assessment of your organization to confirm the areas that are in good shape and identify those that may need enhancement. Bottom line: This review assures you that your people, processes and technology are aligned to drive your organization where you want it to go.
How does The Growth Group do it?
During the Organization Review, The Growth Group assesses three primary systems: Organizational, Operational and Managerial. Collecting information through individual interviews, questionnaires and reviews of written documentation and financial reports, The Growth Group confirms for you what’s working well and identifies what’s not working as well as needed. Our analysis of the information yields knowledge from which we make recommendations. Our recommendations are practical, cost-effective, linked to your strategic initiatives and presented in a way that’s acceptable to those in the organization who may be impacted by change.
What does an Organization Review mean to me?
Conducting an Organization Review safeguards the good health of your organization. Effective organizations can’t afford responsibility gaps, goal diffusion, role ambiguity, non-value adding activities or over-reliance on one or two personalities to reach its objectives. This review helps you know where to keep up the good work and where to direct your attention. Simply put, an Organization Review enables you to align your Strategy, Structure, Staffing and Systems in a way that propels you toward your strategic objectives.
