“Procrastination is one of the most common and deadliest of diseases and its toll on success and happiness is heavy.”
– Wayne Gretzky
We’ve all done it. We’ve all decided we’ll exercise tomorrow. We’ll start eating better next week. That project we’ve been meaning to get to can wait just a bit longer. We delay, we postpone, we avoid doing something we need to do. In other words, we procrastinate.
The problem is, procrastination often means never actually starting.
Procrastination stands between you and the things you need or want to accomplish, especially those goals that are difficult yet meaningful. It robs you of your possibilities, your potential. Procrastination stands between the person you are today and the person you could be tomorrow.
So, make today the day. Start the journey to becoming the person you want to be . . . the person you were meant to be.
